I recently borrowed "Last Holiday" starring Queen Latifah from my local library. I had remembered seeing the previews for the movie when it first came out and had also seen a special on Food Network about the movie. I love to cook, which I remembered was a major plot point of this movie, so I figured I would probably like the film.
I couldn't have been more right; I loved the movie from the start! Queen Latifah's performance is so genuine that you can't help but to love her character, Georgia Byrd. The idea of an "average, everyday person" dreaming for something bigger in life was very heart-warming. The supporting cast, including LL Cool J and Alicia Witt, were also very endearing and genuine. I don't want to reveal too much of the plot to those who haven't seen the movie, but if you are looking for a "feel good" story, this is definitly a film to check out!
I watched the movie three times in the week that I had it from the library, and just recently bought my own copy of the DVD. "Last Holiday" has definitly been added to my list of all-time favorite movies, and one that I hope to enjoy for years to come.

About me
Hello, my name is Michael and I am a 25 year old Graphic Designer from Delaware. In my spare time I like to work around my house and watch movies. Seeing as though I don't have cable, watching movies and television shows on DVD or playing video games is usually my only source of entertainment!Occupation: Graphic Designer
SingleAbout my collections
I own a small DVD/VHS collection of movies that I really enjoy. Most of the movies I've seen lately have been borrowed free from my local library. This way, I get to "screen" a movie to see if I like it before I go out and buy it! Just recently I've started collecting Blu-ray Disc releases in anticipation of purchasing a Blu-ray player in the near future.Lists

"Not sure if you are interested in the computer animated movies, but Mother Gothel from Tangled was a pretty good villain!"

My Top 10: Animated Villains (10 movies items)
"Great list! I agree with the previous comment that you should expand the list (if you want to). Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty is often regarded as one of Disney's great villains."
